In his over 25 year career, George Schiro has examined evidence in more than 2900 criminal investigation cases. While most of these cases have been in Louisiana, he has also consulted on cases in 23 other states, for the United States Army and Air Force, and the United Kingdom. He has also testified as an expert witness in over 145 trials in 29 Louisiana parish courts, Pope County Arkansas, San Bernardino County California, Lee County Florida, Washington County Mississippi, St. Louis County Missouri, Clark County Nevada, Bronx County New York, Cabell County West Virginia, federal court, and two Louisiana city courts. The 1991 Louisiana State Police investigation of the September 8, 1935 assassination of U. S. Senator Huey P. Long
Ray Krone and Carolyn Leming vs. County of Maricopa, et.al.
One set of south Louisiana serial killings (Derrick Todd Lee was eventually tried and convicted for two of the murders. Evidence of the other murders was also presented at the trials.)
